Ensure all bid documents follows established quality standards
Bid Management and proposal coordination
Lead end-to-end bid activities for transmission system support programs
Support with specification review and handover during bid to execution phase where appropriate
Develop and maintain bid management plans, schedules, and deliverables
Support development of pricing models, risk registers, and commercial terms
Prepare high-quality proposal documents, including technical narratives, execution plans, schedules and capability statements
Coordinate cost build-ups for resource, materials, equipment and support services
Assist in developing system support architecture such as ILS (Integrated logistics support), reliability and maintainability considerations. And configurations management
Work with engineering teams to define technical concepts, support solutions, sustainment strategies, and maintenance approaches for transmission systems.
Act as primary bid point-of contact for internal stakeholders, able to field questions from all engineering disciplines within the team
Coordinate contributions from engineering, logistics, supply chain, quality and finance teams
Ensure risks and issues are identified, managed and escalated appropriately
Ensure all submission comply with customer requirements, tender instruction, and defence procurement guidelines
Apply and promote practical systems thinking in support of infrastructure and facilities maintenance projects

Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in an Engineering, project Management discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Systems or related).
Strong communication skills and a proactive, delivery-focused mindset.
Experience in design and construction phases especially in a dockyard or industrial infrastructure environment.
Understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements management, integration and verification and validation.
Familiarity with project coordination and basic project management principles, even if gained informally.
Experience organising and supporting stakeholder meetings. Ability to engage with stakeholders, technical teams and cross-functional groups to understand their key needs.
Awareness of engineering assurance and governance within a regulated or safety-critical environment.
Exposure to delivering projects across the full lifecycle – from concept through to completion.
Understanding of project life cycle from concept, commissioning to operations and maintenance.
Experience in applying systems thinking in environments with legacy systems, real-world constraints and evolving problem sets.
Strong technical understanding of vehicle transmission systems or heavy vehicle transmission systems
5+ years of relevant project engineering experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., aerospace, nuclear, maritime, infrastructure, oil and gas etc.).
