The incumbent will maintain system‑wide financial tools, execute financial updates, and prepare funding documents for entry into the STRIPES procurement system. They will support the Annual Operating Plan by handling data entry, conducting first‑level accuracy reviews, and assisting with the Approved Funding Program. Additionally, they will develop training materials, deliver hands‑on training, and update SOPs and manuals for corporate‑wide systems.
Responsibilities include providing technical expertise to program managers and laboratory personnel for financial planning scenarios, conducting strategic analyses of program performance, and producing special‑purpose financial reports. The role also involves collecting and analyzing data for OMB calls, annual apportionment requests, and small‑business procurement baselines.
The role is in Management Consulting, requiring up to 10 % travel, a public‑trust clearance, and the ability to obtain a Federal or DoD public‑trust adjudication. Applicants must be U.S. citizens residing within 50 miles of Washington, D.C.
Candidates need a bachelor’s degree and 1‑2 years of experience supporting federal, state, or local programs, strong knowledge of DOE policies, and solid project‑management and stakeholder‑facilitation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and excellent written and verbal communication are required, along with analytical problem‑solving abilities and flexibility to prioritize ad‑hoc tasks.
Preferred qualifications include a degree in communications or a related field and direct experience with systems such as STRIPES and the IDW PMP.
