Serve in a technical capacity to provide solutions to complex engineering problems within the Civil / Structural department.
Support senior engineers with planning, preparing and developing detailed design and specifications for major and complex structures, systems and equipment.
Participate in project planning and preparation of budgets and estimates.
Review shop drawings.
Coordinate with other internal engineering disciplines on project designs.
Perform material take offs of steel and concrete structures.
Develop project specifications.
Design concrete foundations for support of equipment and buildings in power plants and other industrial facilities.
Design structural steel for industrial projects including platforms, pipe racks, and pipe and electrical supports.
Work as the Responsible Engineer for assigned items ensuring the items are designed on schedule and following the quality processes as outlined by company procedures.

Proficient with Structural Engineering Software (STAAD Pro, RISA).
Must posses authorization to work in the USA for any employer without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Minimum of 2 years of work-related industry experience.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
Excellent presentation and communication skills required.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Engineer in Training Certification and working towards Professional Engineer licensure.
