Key duties include working with Adult Social Care customers, involving them in tenancy decisions, assisting with housing benefit claims to keep rent accounts on track, issuing warning letters or notices and attending court when required, and preparing vacant rooms quickly for the next resident while meeting health‑and‑safety and maintenance standards.
Successful candidates will have experience managing a housing‑management caseload, overseeing landlord duties, re‑letting rooms, collecting rents and taking formal tenancy action. They must be able to lead within the team, work independently, influence people from diverse backgrounds, collaborate with internal and external partners and be comfortable using technology for benefit claims and tenancy sign‑ups.
Housing Management Coordinator role pays £13.21 per hour (£25,838 per annum) with benefits including a Health Cash Plan. It is a permanent, full‑time position (37.5 hpw) working Monday‑Friday 9 am‑5 pm in St Austell, Cornwall. The role focuses on tenancy support, ensuring customers' homes are safe, well maintained and helping them move onto secure long‑term accommodation.
