Ensure proper and approved communication and advocacy on EM positions, with clear stakeholder alignment
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and assess risks and opportunities
Actively seek out broader EM opportunities to position carbon removal credit generation opportunities globally and build case for action
Lead direct engagement with registries on standards and methodology changes and enhancements, driving alignment internally with key SMEs
Represent EM and LCS externally to engage stakeholders
Partner with and provide guidance to regional affiliates and other business lines on specific business, use case, and policy topics related to voluntary carbon credits
Expand demand for high-quality carbon removal credits by developing and executing strategy for global market forming policies and mechanisms
Leverage and synthesize external data and insights on market trends and regulatory and non-regulatory developments to inform strategy and decision-making
Apply and help shape EM policy positions on voluntary carbon credits for consultations with global regulators, standard setters, and industry groups
Deliver key quantitative and qualitative insights on the state of the voluntary carbon markets
Drive advocacy of high-quality criteria and use of voluntary carbon credits within regulatory and voluntary frameworks
Negotiate terms with registries on supplier agreements and manage compliance
Develop and manage enterprise relationships with carbon credit registries

Flexible and able to thrive in ambiguous environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders at all levels
A minimum of 10 years of related experience, including 3+ years in carbon markets
Self-directed, highly motivated and able to work as a team and independently
Sense of ownership of work product and the ability to handle several deliverables simultaneously and prioritize work to meet time sensitive deadlines, often working across the organization
Self-motivated and proactive individual with effective process management skills, a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
Strong understanding of the energy industry, decarbonization pathways, net zero standards, and global carbon market trends and competitive landscape
