Tasks

We’re looking for a Head of Operations to keep Tapi running efficiently, predictably, and profitably as we scale across Australia, New Zealand, and new global markets. This role leads Tapi’s operational engine, translating strategy into action, maintaining financial discipline, and driving delivery excellence across every part of the business. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll work closely with the CEO and execs to ensure Tapi’s foundation stays strong while we grow fast. You’ll oversee everything from financial management and planning to systems, data, automation, and operational rhythm. -Delivery Operations: Keep Tapi’s delivery engine sharp, manage company wide delivery, track execution, and drive process improvements. -People & Culture: Lead people planning, frameworks, performance, and engagement for the business. Lead a small, high-impact operations team. -Systems & Automation: Oversee and optimise Tapi’s core tools (Slack, Xero, Chargebee, Linear, Notion, Zapier, Airwallex, etc.). Design smart, scalable workflows that automate repetitive work and improve accuracy. -Governance & Compliance: Act as Board Secretary, manage investor relations, and ensure compliance across SOC II, ISO, privacy, and risk frameworks. -Strategy & Planning: Lead annual planning, OKRs, quarterly forecasting, and reporting rhythms. -Builds automation into everything, spotting manual work and replacing it with smart systems. -Data & Insights: Maintain KPI dashboards and reporting systems that give the business clear, real-time visibility. -Creates clean data environments that make decision-making effortless. -Collaborates across functions, a trusted partner to Product, Sales, and People teams.
