Responsible for staying within HOS (hours of service), if applicable
Develop quick and accurate communication with field personnel and dispatch.
Responsible for complying with all Trimble/Telogis regulations.
Participate in technical training with dealer / manufacturer and as much as possible and pass on that training to other mechanics.
Observe and report any deficiencies to forward our PM program for effectiveness and possible additions to our program.
Work daily with Internal Department, Field Managers and Superintendents as well as Field Mechanics.
Work closely with our Field Services Dispatcher and our parts personnel to assure on time delivery of parts.
Assure compliance with all governmental and company safety polices.
Assure quality of repairs to minimize recall/duplicate work.
Expected to keep all sensitive material confidential.
Assist equipment technicians or service personnel with technical support. This will be accomplished by phone/email or directly at job site.

Ability to give and receive written or oral instructions.
Able to arrange schedules, recommend machinery to be down for repair as needed, and able to make parts orders.
Must be knowledgeable with all components of heavy construction machinery including but not limited to diesel engines, power transmissions, hydrostatic drives, open and closed-circuit hydraulics as well as compensating systems.
