Manufacturing Team Lead - Finishing - 1st Shift (P)

Description

• Organizing daily operator tasks at shift start based on team availability and critical path activities reporting on team members' work activity to the manager.
• Facilitating shift changeover status/briefing, Team and Department meetings. Designated liaison to hand off operations to the next shift.
• Maintaining and reporting on production status to the manager ensuring that performance boards are kept up to date and the job is tracking to schedule.

Requirements

• Experience with ceramic manufacturing and statistical methods preferred and ability to work evenings and weekends as needed to deploy training, etc.
• This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
• Evidence of High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Understanding the safety requirements of the job.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting and proficiency with Office products required.
• Able to perform basic math functions using the metric system.
