Continuous learning and professional growth are key aspects of this role, and specialised training will be provided to support your development. In this position you will provide hands‑on technical expertise to analyse issues, communicate corrective actions, and prioritize escalations for MineStar software and hardware. You will use structured support processes to respond, restore, and resolve customer issues, and act as a strong advocate for both customers and dealers, ensuring their needs are communicated to internal engineering teams. You will identify and drive product improvement opportunities, support new product introduction projects, and participate in field testing and validation programs to monitor product performance and ensure real‑world effectiveness.
You will collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement ICA and PCA solutions, execute field fixes, and enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction. You will also provide feedback on technical service documentation for MineStar solutions, engage with cross‑functional teams on incident investigations, and generate system and site reports tracking product performance and insights.
Basic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical/trade experience. Preferred experience includes first‑line technical support for enterprise applications, strong problem management and root‑cause analysis skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Programming and scripting knowledge, expertise in Windows Server, virtual machines, SQL Server, Oracle, and TCP/IP networking are also required; experience in mining or heavy earthmoving industries is a benefit but not required.
The role requires occasional open‑pit mine site support, including completion of regulatory safety training and travel to the site for a typical week of daily work. This position is office‑based five days a week, does not support visa sponsorship, and is posted from January 8 2026 to January 22 2026.
