What you would be doing

Chair SEPA’s data governance and management groups.
Ensure operational controls are in place to manage data risks.
Drive the delivery and continuous improvement of metadata, data quality and master data management capabilities.
Develop and maintain organisation-wide data policies, standards and procedures.
Lead data literacy and enablement initiatives.
Partner with stakeholders to establish clear data ownership and stewardship.
Define and implement SEPA’s data operating model and governance framework.
What you bring

Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of data governance and management frameworks (e.g. DAMA, DCAM).
Proven ability to work with business data owners and stewards to embed governance and improve data literacy.
Hands-on experience of governance tools (e.g. Purview, Profisee, Collibra, Informatica, or similar).
Deep understanding of data cataloguing, metadata, master data and data quality practices.
Experience defining and applying data policies, standards, processes and risk controls.
