Generates and reviews engineering inputs to customer proposals, including technical concepts, preliminary bill of materials (BOM’s), test and analysis scope and related expenses, and preliminary engineering labor estimates.
Generates models and drawings to capture the engineering design, and manages the review and release of this technical data, as well as related reports and program deliverables, through Eaton’s Product Lifecycle Management database.
Coordinates responses to sustaining engineering issues, developing timely, cost-effective solutions. Represents Engineering in the Material Review Board (MRB).
Leads tasks in the development of new products from concept level, through validation and qualification following applicable regulatory and industry standards and customer requirements.
Generates and reviews mechanical design and dimensional analyses. Reviews structural, thermal, dynamic, and performance analysis for design validation as required. Interfaces effectively with applicable internal resources analysis teams.
Drives failure analysis investigations for Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) projects.
Supports marketing and sales teams with technical support and customer visits.

This role MUST report on-site daily M-F at our Camarillo, CA mfg location. Relocation is not available. Candidate must currently reside within 50 miles of Camarillo CA.
