At Home, you will join a caring team that empowers you to make a positive impact on customers with complex support needs, helping them develop the skills required to live more independently in the community.
The role combines practical assistance, risk assessment and collaborative planning to support customers in achieving the outcomes set out in their support plans, while allowing time for meaningful interaction with colleagues.
While you will often work alone, you will attend regular daytime training and team meetings, manage your own diary within shift patterns (8 am‑4 pm, 9 am‑5 pm, 12 pm‑8 pm or rolling rota), use technology for support plans and online learning, and undergo a paid Enhanced DBS check.
Candidates should demonstrate a genuine passion for helping others, have experience of caring for people, be able to work autonomously, stay calm under pressure and adopt a flexible, person‑centred approach. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use are also required.
The Tenancy Management Support Worker role offers a rate of £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum) on a six‑month fixed‑term contract, full‑time (37.5 hours per week) with a three‑week rolling rota, based in Workington, Cumbria. The position does not include a Certificate of Sponsorship.
Home Group promotes a supportive workplace where staff receive comprehensive training, benefit from a friendly culture and are recognised as part of one of the UK’s top ten Great Places to Work.
Benefits include 34 days of paid leave (rising to 39), a health cash plan covering dental, optical and other therapies for you and your children, extensive retail discounts, mileage reimbursement, and clear pathways for career progression within Home Group.
