Prepares cost studies, trend estimates, and life cycle cost estimates.
Participates in establishing pricing structures to be applied to quantities for estimates.
Contributes to basis of estimate (BOE) documentation.
Establishes format and content of summaries and reconciliations, including segregation of cost according to level of confidence.
Performs and reviews escalation calculations for estimates of complex jobs.
Calculates contingency through manual calculations and/or Monte Carlo analysis.
Assesses and integrates commercial terms and conditions into estimates under supervision.
Prepares capital cost estimates.
Evaluates productivity and develops probable construction cost based on crew craft productivity.
Identifies risk items and assigns risk levels to portions of the project work; identifies measures to mitigate risk.
Reviews estimates for completion and technical accuracy ensuing quality that applicable lessons learned are incorporated.
Prepares estimate basis and assumption documentation.
Takes a lead role in estimate reviews and presentations.

Extensive knowledge and experience in EPC estimating practices and methods, including demonstrated ability to organize, direct, perform, review and present cost estimating products with a minimum of supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
US citizenship is required by contract requirement.
Must possess active security clearance or an ability to obtain security clearance.
Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check including verification of employment, education, and travel.
Skilled in oral and written communication with demonstrated ability to present estimating information to peers and management.
Must be able to obtain site security badge for access to work site.
Bachelor’s degree and 10 - 13 years of experience, or 14 - 17 years of relevant work experience.
Thorough understanding of cost index and escalation projections.
