Scada EMS Solutions Consultant

In this role, you won’t just implement systems—you’ll help utilities and energy providers modernize their operations, optimize performance, and ensure reliability in an increasingly complex grid environment. You’ll collaborate with industry experts, leverage advanced SCADA/EMS platforms, and deliver solutions that make power smarter, cleaner, and more resilient.

• Support integration of advanced technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and SaaS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues for optimal performance.
• Build and maintain configuration databases for SCADA/EMS applications.
• Translate customer requirements into tailored technical solutions.
• Design and configure SCADA/EMS solutions for grid operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Provide technical expertise during pre-sales and implementation phases.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients.

• Familiarity with Smart Grid architecture and NERC compliance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of power system operations and grid automation principles.
• Proficiency in scripting and virtual platforms (VMware, Kubernetes).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Computer Science, or related).
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SCADA, EMS, OTS, or GMS systems.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
