Support the development of mechanical design concepts that encompass the latest design thinking on low energy and low carbon design, natural ventilation, sustainability and zero carbon
Conduct site visits
Use of 3D modelling packages (Revit) to develop system designs
Complete the design of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems
Prepare mark-ups and work with other design team members to progress holistic design of the project in question.
Carry out analysis of new technologies and how they can be incorporated into our projects to ensure a sustainable and robust design
Prepare reports, presentations and site reports
Using software and digital tools to analysis and optimise solutions
Prepare and input to decarbonisation strategies for buildings with respect to both operational and embodied carbon
Undertake thermal and Building Regulation compliance modelling using proprietary software (IESVE or similar)

Master's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Building Services Engineering, however strong Bachelors degrees in these subjects will also be considered
Studying, or have studied, an IMechE, CIBSE or Engineering Council accredited course
