Description

The role supports production activities by performing a variety of tasks, following standard work methods, and maintaining safe work habits to keep production efficient and safe.

• Follow standard work methods and safety policies to ensure efficient, safe production.
• Pull packaging supplies (boxes, pallets, bags, etc.) according to job travelers.
• Read and understand job specifications before starting each operation.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and move documentation to the administrator.
• Place finished goods on designated pallets and transport them to shipping.
• Perform assigned operations to acceptable quality standards and complete required documentation.
• Maintain housekeeping by emptying trash bins and keeping aisles clear of clutter.
• Operate and maintain machinery such as band saws and shrink‑wrap equipment.
• Write paperwork, fill out forms, and track time accurately in English.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching above shoulder height, and lifting up to 45 lb with proper technique.

Requirements

• Perform basic math, use a tape measure, and read safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals in English.
• Comprehend written and oral job instructions and apply common‑sense reasoning to follow them.
• Use required personal protective equipment (safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection) when in manufacturing areas.

Benefits

The position is located in Charlotte, NC (ZIP 28273) with an hourly wage of $17.75. It operates on the first shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
