The Quantity Surveyor will work with the line manager to handle commercial administration, reporting and performance across a large project or several smaller schemes, ensuring contractual compliance and value optimisation.
The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of standard forms of contract, strong IT skills (Excel, Word, CEMAR, Oracle), excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, and a good grasp of construction processes and time management. Professional qualifications such as MCIOB or MRICS (or progression towards them) are desirable, together with a relevant degree or commercial experience on large or multiple schemes and a valid CSCS card.
