The Asset Management Lead will shape the strategic approach to asset management across Estates Intelligence, acting as the senior authority and supporting clients to improve decision‑making, value realisation and long‑term performance across complex estates.
In this role you will define, lead and continuously improve the asset‑management methodology and service offering, serving as a senior advisor on strategy, maturity and improvement roadmaps, and translating best practice into data‑driven insights.
You will engage directly with existing and new public‑sector clients, leading workshops and reviews with senior stakeholders, providing oversight, assurance and subject‑matter expertise to ensure outcomes align with recognised standards and frameworks.
You will lead the design, development and ongoing maintenance of the Reference Data Library, governing asset taxonomies, classifications and reference values, and establishing change‑control, versioning and auditability to support MAP analytics and lifecycle decision‑making.
You will provide governance and assurance for the MAP (Maintain, Assure, Predict) analytics capability, ensuring data structures, metrics and outputs remain relevant, defensible and aligned to asset‑management principles, while collaborating with product owners and technical teams.
Business development responsibilities include supporting client engagement, contributing to bid writing, creating case studies and white papers, and delivering thought leadership to grow the business.
Active industry engagement is expected; you will stay current with evolving asset‑management practices, build professional networks across infrastructure and estates communities, and represent Estates Intelligence at events and professional bodies.
The role requires significant experience in asset‑management for estates or infrastructure, familiarity with public‑sector contracts, proven advisory capability, and experience designing or governing asset data models. Technical expectations include strong knowledge of ISO 55000, IAM guidance, data governance and the ability to challenge analytics.
