Assist in community engagement activities, including preparing materials for public meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions to communicate redevelopment concepts and gather input.
Support environmental and site analysis efforts by researching historical land uses, environmental conditions, and regulatory frameworks impacting redevelopment projects.
Compile and analyze data related to social, economic, housing, environmental, and land use trends to inform redevelopment strategies and policy recommendations.
Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings from environmental assessments, community feedback, and redevelopment feasibility studies.
Collaborate with Development Services staff on projects focused on community redevelopment, brownfield revitalization, and sustainable land use planning.
Conduct research and create planning documents, including site diagrams, conceptual redevelopment plans, and environmental impact summaries under the guidance of senior staff.
Develop graphics, maps, and visualizations that illustrate environmental constraints, redevelopment opportunities, and planning scenarios for diverse audiences such as residents, elected officials, and project partners.

Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Be in pursuit of an environmental engineering, community/urban planning, design, landscape architecture or related degree.
Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, other graphics programs, and GIS software is a plus, but not necessarily required.
Familiarity with regulations, practices, and approaches to complex redevelopment initiatives for environmentally challenged sites.
Self‐directed, motivated, collaborative, and professional, with the ability to manage project deliverables, deadlines, and budgets.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
Have a reliable means of transportation to travel to office locations and project sites.
