What you would be doing

schedule coordination
- Develop Charge Blending plans and work with operations to ensure scrap utilization is maximized
- Enter charge sheet data into Ingot Pad Melter Charge database, review footage as necessary
- Count inventory and scrap, paint prime with counts - update daily inventory and distribute
- Assist with rejecting Loads---Copy paperwork, pictures, and email to Metals Team
- Coordinate and identify segregation of all various alloys
- Review truck/railroad incoming material schedule and coordinate with South Ingot/Can Rec--Emails storage locations

- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis and Reliability Excellence methodologies
- Understand how metal flows through the process and recognize inaccuracies in the system
- 2+ years of direct management/supervisory experience
- Minimum of (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Experience with furnaces or molten metal processes
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high performance, cross functional team environment
