Job Summary: Operate and set up CNC press brake, punch press, and laser punch. Select and load material, tooling, and programs to manufacture parts to schedule. Work in a lean cell where the operator simultaneously operates multiple machines.
- Operate CNC punch, laser punch, and press brake.
- Load programs using machine‑specific software.
- Program basic parts and geometries on the equipment.
- Select and load tooling for punching or bending operations.
- Change laser consumables and set up equipment for production.
- Load materials into machines and remove scrap to designated bins.
- Communicate issues to CNC programmer and maintenance staff.
- Perform basic operator preventative maintenance.
- Operate stand‑up reach lift truck and hold PIT certification as needed.
- Perform bending, squatting, stooping, twisting, turning, and reaching motions.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior CNC operator or metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Knowledge of punching and forming tools used in CNC operations.
- Ability to read blueprints and apply mechanical skills.
- Proficient with measurement tools such as calipers, tape measures, and go/no‑go gauges.
- Experience nesting parts in programmed machines is a plus.
- Strong math skills including decimals and fractions.
- Familiarity with GD&T and CNC computer‑based systems.
- Judgement to plan and sequence setups, operations, and processes.
- Excellent quality, safety, and attendance record.
- Training and experience with lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Capable of lifting 50 lb and 20 lb overhead.
