Produce and create various financial reports through the ERP system working with the Financial Reporting Manager in pulling information for management reporting.
Manage the accounting for revenue in accordance with ASC 606, including proper recognition and disclosure.
Support various business planning and overhead budgeting activities including benchmarking, reporting actuals versus plan, and helping answer questions from sector leaders.
Collaborate with the IT department to assist in the maintenance and updates of the ERP system to ensure accurate financial data processing.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.
Maintain and update fixed asset database, add and dispose of new fixed assets, verify accurate depreciation methods are being used, run and post depreciation and develop process to review and dispose of assets on a regular basis
Collaborate across departments to ensure proper documentation and financial accuracy of financial transactions.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or issues that require resolution.
Assist with process improvement initiatives related to accounting and financial reporting
Review the general ledger to validate coding for journal entries in accordance with company policy and GAAP rules and regulations.
Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, including revenue recognition and account reconciliations.
Help support Accounting and Company leadership with ad hoc requests.
Prepare various surveys as required by government or other regulatory entities and various industry publications as requested by management.
