Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Safely performing work, in the office and potentially in the field. Fieldwork may occur in all seasonal weather conditions, using equipment (with the ability to lift and move approximately 50 pounds without assistance), and operating vehicles on behalf of the company.
Support a variety of geological tasks while working with our Site Investigation and Remediation team.
Assist field staff at project sites in support of remediation, due diligence, compliance, monitoring, and construction.
Assist with preparation of project deliverables such as proposals, reports, figures, graphs, and tables.

Actively enrolled in an accredited Geology, Hydrogeology, Earth Science, or related, Undergraduate (juniors or seniors preferred) program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026 or later.
Must be able to pass a HAZWOPER physical.
Actively enrolled in an accredited Geology, Hydrogeology, Earth Science, or related, Master’s or PhD program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026 or later.
Learn basic principles of the SUPERFUND process.
Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
Demonstrates interest in Geology, Hydrogeology, Earth Science, or related field, and have a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP’s work and projects.
Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week; approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Monday to Friday) this summer for approximately 3 months; field work days may be longer.
Prior internship and leadership involvement on campus.
Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to executive projects.
Must be 18 or older.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
