The Grounds Maintenance Operator will perform a wide range of manual and machinery‑assisted tasks in physically demanding outdoor environments, supporting construction, agricultural and infrastructure projects by operating plant equipment, handling materials, and assisting tradespeople and site teams.
Ideal candidates can safely operate mowers, blowers, compactors and other landscaping equipment, are capable of lifting, digging, bending and working outdoors in all weather conditions, and have familiarity with OH&S procedures and PPE. They must follow instructions, work collaboratively, communicate effectively on‑site, be punctual and dependable, and hold relevant licences, a white card and first‑aid certification. Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance are required.
