- Strong academic background with a focus on transportation engineering coursework.
- Knowledgeable in transportation engineering design of urban and rural roadways
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge with INDOT projects is a plus
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification is required
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or other relevant tools.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, but not required.
