The manager will be responsible for overseeing fleet maintenance operations across a network that stretches from Geraldton to Albany, supervising seven workshops and a staff of about 80. Responsibilities include both planned and reactive maintenance of heavy vehicles, plant, and equipment, as well as coordinating emergency breakdown and recovery services.
In addition to operational duties, the role emphasizes building a collaborative and safety‑driven workplace, attracting and developing talent, and ensuring business continuity through succession planning. The manager will also take part in strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting related to fleet requirements.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, commerce or a related discipline, extensive leadership experience in heavy‑fleet workshop environments, solid commercial acumen, and a commitment to fostering a high‑performing team culture.
