The supervisor oversees the manufacturing process by scheduling work assignments, training employees, monitoring quality and safety, maintaining inventory, and recording production data.
- Schedule shift activities for molding department personnel to meet production goals and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Delegate production tasks, train employees, provide tools, approve time transactions, evaluate performance, and recommend employment actions.
- Communicate, delegate, guide, and encourage initiative, creativity, and progress among departmental staff.
- Enter daily production data into the manufacturing system promptly and accurately.
- Monitor product quality and perform inspections to ensure adherence to standards.
- Perform minor technical mold tasks when the Molding Technician is absent.
- Order and stock supplies to ensure material availability for production.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment and educate personnel on proper equipment use.
- Track scrap levels and prepare weekly and monthly reports for manufacturing departments.

The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, and reaching, as well as lifting up to 50 lb and maneuvering up to 100 lb with a dolly. Workers are regularly exposed to oil, noise, and temperature variations due to seasonal changes.
