• Create and modify 2D/3D CAD drawings per project specs.

Requirements

Civil Science is seeking a qualified CAD Designer to join our Dickinson, Williston, or Fargo, North Dakota team. In this role you will work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other team members to design a variety of civil engineering projects, including large‑scale land development, infrastructure, transportation, and municipal utilities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, self‑directed environment and can grow into a larger role within the firm.

Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, pass a criminal background check and driving‑record review, and may be considered for work‑visa sponsorship on a case‑by‑case basis.

• 4+ years CAD experience in civil engineering (or equivalent education).
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Revit).
• Strong grasp of design principles and engineering concepts.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple initiatives.
• Sit for prolonged periods working on a computer.
• Lift up to 20 lb and perform squatting, bending, lifting as needed.
• Agile structure with minimal red tape, enabling project ownership.
