Tasks

Compile and organize results into a clean, consistent spreadsheet format Assist with surface ownership title research when required Travel to courthouses in the Lower Peninsula and select counties in the Upper Peninsula as needed Support both solar and wind development teams by gathering critical competitive intel Perform title research dating back up to 20 years to identify recorded agreements by other renewable companies -Assist with surface ownership title research when required -Support both solar and wind development teams by gathering critical competitive intel -Travel to courthouses in the Lower Peninsula and select counties in the Upper Peninsula as needed -Compile and organize results into a clean, consistent spreadsheet format -Perform title research dating back up to 20 years to identify recorded agreements by other renewable companies

What You Bring

Strong attention to detail and comfort with historical deed language Michigan-based candidates preferred, but open to strong researchers in nearby states willing to travel Must have an active LLC Title research experience (courthouse or online) Tech-savvy – Excel/spreadsheet proficiency required Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for courthouse research across Michigan This is a full-time 1099 contract role (not benefits-eligible) This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and familiar with title work, particularly researching recorded agreements filed by other renewable developers.
