Implement overall security strategy, policies, and standards to ensure the physical safety of all visitors, employees, and customers at facilities and the security of property and assets.
Provide leadership, mentoring, coaching and education to develop and maintain an effective security conscious environment.
Establish and maintain partnerships with appropriate local, state and federal law enforcement officials.
Develop mechanism for the collection and analytics of security related data.

Attend meetings, professional seminars, or conferences to stay ahead of changes in executive legislative directives or new technologies impacting security operations.

Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and influence without authority.
Ability to meet the physical and environmental demands of the role: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Frequent sitting and standing with occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching/stooping.
Ability to formulate, develop, implement and supervise a multi-scale security program at international levels.
Ideally, 10+ years security, law enforcement and/or a satisfactory equivalent combination of knowledge and experience with demonstrated leadership effectiveness.
Ideally, advanced degrees or certifications, i.e., Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Knowledge and experience with security systems, cameras, visitor management systems, access controls and other security programs and related equipment required.
Innovative & adaptable
Domestic and international travel may be required up to 25% of the time, including various locations ranging from corporate buildings, offices, and manufacturing sites.
Bachelor’s degree required with emphasis on security, law enforcement, criminal justice and/or a related field; or a satisfactory equivalent combination of education and training.
Demonstrated knowledge of safety and security laws, rules and regulations.
