Workday FIN Optimization Senior Consultant

Description

You will oversee the Optimization program for the Workday Practice, which includes production support, planned assessments, and Phase X deployments. In addition, you will lead the design and development of solutions that help customers optimize their Workday tenant.

Requirements

The role is part of the SaaS/PaaS/Cloud Consulting family and may require up to 25 % travel. No security clearance is required. As a Workday Financials Optimization Manager at Guidehouse, you will deliver Workday solutions that enable organizations to optimize their Workday environments, ranging from initial assessments to full transformations.

Candidates must have at least two years of hands‑on Workday experience. Required education and experience can be met by a bachelor's degree plus three years of Workday Financials or other ERP experience, a master’s degree plus one year, or seven years of relevant experience without a degree. Experience should preferably be in post‑production support.

Preferred qualifications include Workday Public Sector experience, an active Workday Financial certification, and extensive proficiency with Microsoft products.

• Minimum two years of Workday experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree with ≥3 years Workday Financials ERP experience, or Master’s with ≥1 year, or 7 years of experience without a degree.
• Post‑production support experience preferred.
• Travel up to 25 % with primary work‑from‑home or office setup.
• Workday Public Sector experience preferred.
• Active Workday Financial certification required.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft products.

Benefits

The position offers a salary range of $113,000 to $188,000, with compensation determined by factors such as skill set, experience, certifications, and business needs.
