Responsibilities· Operate machinery to drill, cut, shape and perforate glass frames and glazing products; such as CNC operated saws, RHINO- aluminum extrusion punch, pneumatic tools, power tools, and others· Assemble commercial glass doors & hardware- storefront, automatic, revolving doors, closers, handles, etc. · Apply weatherproof sealants to glazing systems and products- use silicone/caulk pumps· Carefully load and unload heavy materials, operate forklift if necessary. · Prepare materials for shipping: vinyl wrap glass, package, build crates etc. · Abide by all the required safety rules and procedures · Assist in other departments as needed Requirements · Has experience in manufacturing or related field, knows how to use power tools and hand tools· Has reliable transportation- can commute to Salt Lake City for work· Trainable- learn how to operate machinery and shop equipment· Flexible schedule- can work overtime and weekends if needed · Comfortable moving heavy materials regularly and standing 8+ hours per day· Follow safety procedures and processesPreferred skills· Previous work experience with glazing fabrication or manufacturing: stick build and unitized curtain wall, storefront systems, and/or doors & hardware· Accurately read and interpret shop drawingsCompensation· $22-30+ , depending on experience10/20/2025Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building’s outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals.
