Senior Consultant - SCADA/EMS

PSC is seeking a Senior Consultant to provide technical leadership in SCADA and Energy Management Systems (EMS), with a particular focus on e-Terra software. You’ll drive client success, mentor a team of skilled professionals, and deliver innovative solutions across New Zealand and Australia.

• Mentor & Collaborate: Guide and support a team of professionals by providing technical guidance, sharing best practices and fostering professional growth.
• Vendor Engagement: Work closely with top vendors to drive advancements in SCADA/EMS integration and functionality, ensuring PSC remains at the forefront of operational technology.
• Technical Lead & Advise: Serve as a trusted advisor, overseeing complex consulting engagements, fostering and developing critical client relationships, and guiding the implementation and optimisation of SCADA/EMS and OT systems - especially those involving e-Terra solutions.
• Technical Delivery: Lead the delivery of SCADA and EMS projects, leveraging your deep understanding of e-Terra and similar platforms. You’ll play a pivotal role in integrating and advancing these systems, collaborating with industry-leading vendors to shape next-generation control solutions.

• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor others, provide technical guidance, and support professional growth within your team.
• Vendor Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of EMS vendor systems and applications, preferably GE and Aspentech (OSI). Familiarity with Siemens, Schneider, and ABB systems is beneficial.
• Experience: Proven SCADA or EMS experience, including working knowledge of GE e-Terra. Proven ability to manage client relationships and oversee project delivery, including developing schedules and ensuring successful execution.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with EMS and/or ADMS control system installation, configuration, and integration. Proficiency in modeling tools, display-building, domain management, and a strong working knowledge of modern programming/scripting languages. Experience with SQL-based RDBMS databases is essential.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Power Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
