Category Manager

Description

• Conduct market analysis, end to end sourcing, and supplier negotiations to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Manage supplier relationships and service delivery.
• Support global improvement projects and procurement strategies.
• Promote Health, Safety, Environmental, and ESG initiatives within the category.
• Develop, implement, and maintain category strategies aligned with business requirements.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and meet procurement objectives and targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and align on category strategies and sourcing activities.
• Negotiate, implement and manage contracts with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in Category Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience in procurement processes and delivering results against targets.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage complex change projects.
• Degree qualification in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related fields preferred.
• High proficiency in Microsoft 365, Excel, and ERP systems.
• CIPS Level 4 Diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
