Maintenance Technician

Description

• Perform HVAC repairs, cleaning, and component replacement.
• Repair, replace, and install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and faucets.
• Conduct carpentry work including doors, shelves, countertops, and locks.
• Execute drywall, plaster repairs, and painting tasks.
• Service electrical systems, lighting, wiring, power circuits, and replace switches or lamps.
• Maintain and repair machinery like chillers, belts, pumps, and fans.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents.

Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work, solves problems, and thrives in a team environment. The role involves maintaining the apartment community’s systems and providing exceptional customer service to residents.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience in commercial property or multi‑unit residential settings (3–4 years can offset the educational requirement) and a high school diploma or GED. Preferred certifications include HVAC, electrical, or plumbing, and a valid driver’s license may be required. Essential qualities are self‑motivation, teamwork, strong communication, attention to detail, and personal accountability; weekend availability is also required.

• Preferred certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
