The line cook is responsible for maintaining food quality, appearance, and presentation standards, assisting with meal service and ware washing as needed, producing menu cycle programs that meet regulatory criteria, and ensuring equipment and supplies are kept in proper condition. Diets are prepared according to policy and procedure to meet resident needs.
Candidates must understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, perform simple arithmetic, and understand measurements and conversions. Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance, plus at least one year of restaurant or senior‑living cooking experience, is required.
