Well versed with comprehensive knowledge of the International Civil Aviation Standards and Recommended Practices (ICAO SARPs), Airport Council International (ACI) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) guidelines and other relevant standards and regulations such as FAA, EASA.
Experience in construction of obstacle limitation surfaces and implementing their requirements in the design of all facilities.
Experience in coordination with other trades including stormwater drainage, wet utilities, AGL, electrical and telecom networks, jet fuel hydrant network.
Experience in Aviplan simulations for fillet design and verification, aircraft approach along apron lead-in lines, aircraft wing tip clearances at parking stands, push-back, and taxiing procedures, jet blast envelopes, movement of service vehicles along GSE roads, aircraft servicing at the apron area, operation of boarding bridges, etc.
Experience in design of airports/ airfields or related fields, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry dynamics and practices.
Experience in geometric design of runways, taxiways, grading works for the site.
Must be willing to relocate to Bengaluru and to undertake travel for project assignments.
Experience in apron design including the placement of all apron services/pits, passenger boarding bridges, staging and movement of GSE vehicles/equipment around aircraft, etc…
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in airport layout development including runways, aprons, taxiways, aircraft stands, GSE roads and landside/airside roads serving the airport facilities.
Experience in preparation of design drawings, specifications, bill of quantities, calculation sheets, cost estimates, design reports and other technical design documents.
Experience in airfield visual aids including pavement surface marking and signage.
Experience in airport buildings and facilities placement with respect to their functions and relationship with the airfield elements.
B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering & M.E/M.Tech. in Transportation Engineering
Experience: 4 to 15 years, preferably international working experience - Gulf, UK, US, etc.
