The position involves working in all weather elements, handling high voltages, and consistently using personal protective equipment. Employees must conduct site safety assessments, generate JHA and LOTO documentation, and follow OSHA and site‑specific safety protocols.
- Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades on Level 2 and DC fast EV chargers.
- Conduct insulation, thermal imaging, torque, and performance tests on equipment.
- Diagnose system issues and locate/isolate ground faults.
- Coordinate with Planning and Scheduling to meet maintenance schedules and complete work orders accurately and on time.
- Review site manuals and drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance.
- Document all site issues in the work order system and complete field reports promptly.
- Work independently, analyze problems, and deliver results with a high level of orientation.
- Perform duties in various weather conditions, handle high voltage/current, wear required PPE, and conduct safety assessments including JHA and LOTO per OSHA standards.

We are seeking a skilled EV Charging Field Service Electrician to repair and maintain EV charging stations across a defined geographic region. The role includes site safety, electrical system maintenance, field reporting, and adherence to contractual requirements, while working independently under various field conditions.
- Hold a Journeyman Electrician certification and have 2+ years of experience servicing power equipment in commercial or utility settings.
- Demonstrate strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills; knowledge of EV chargers and solar power installations is a plus.
- Proficient with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office.
