Procurement Manager / Senior Cost Manager MEP

Description

• Conduct prequalification and shortlisting of suppliers through bid analysis, making award recommendations
• Maintain all trackers related to the procurement.
• Manage procurement process as client representative on behalf of Linesight Construction Cost Consulting.
• Manage contract preparation, finalization and administration with rigorous attention to detail
• Help the site team in closing variation orders raised by contractor.
• Assist with the procurement and contract administration for a variety of contracts including architects, engineers, general contractors and equipment vendors pertaining to the construction industry
• Prepare final contract documents for signature based on agreed terms with the contractor.
• Prepare LOI/LOA as per Project requirements
• Generate and manage project budgets, preparing and organizing documents required for approvals
• Laise with all departments to conclude the contract.
• Lead negotiations on pricing agreements with external partners using carefully prepared competitive benchmarking and trend analysis data

Requirements

• Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing
• Have experience in pre-qualifying vendors and managing tenders for Capex construction services projects, with good knowledge of Capex contracts mechanisms
• Have a degree in a procurement or supply chain management related discipline
• Have an understanding of Singapore construction contract law
• Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun
• Are detail orientated and quality focused
• Should hold a B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering and have at least 10 years of experience in procurement, Master’s in Procurement is preferred.
