The Assistant Facility Manager – Technical will work alongside the Facility Manager to plan and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, ensure all M&E contracts are in place, and control critical spares for every installation according to manufacturer recommendations.
The role involves executing engineering and operational procedures per Infosys policy, liaising with local authorities and vendors, and guaranteeing proper functioning of electrical, HVAC, PAC, elevator, and cafeteria systems while maintaining statutory documents, environmental plans and business‑continuity management objectives.
Additional duties include handling small renovation projects, guiding technical staff to resolve workplace issues, adhering to maintenance schedules, coordinating go‑live transitions, participating in emergency evacuations, and supporting ISO audits, internal/external certifications and VIP client visits.
- Coordinate CAPEX and OPEX budgeting for engineering and operational expenses.
- Maintain critical spares inventory per manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensure all M&E contracts are current and compliant.
- Execute engineering procedures in line with Infosys policies.
- Liaise with local authorities for statutory compliance.
- Oversee vendor maintenance and service practices for M&E contractors.
- Monitor and maintain electrical, HVAC, PAC, lift, and cafeteria systems.
- Maintain statutory documents such as CIEG, calibration, lift, and pollution control records.
- Develop yearly environment management and M&E objectives aligned with ESG and BCMS policies.
- Manage small renovation projects from initiation to completion.
- Guide technical staff to resolve workplace technical issues promptly.
- Achieve 99.5% timely AHD closure for M&E incidents.
- Coordinate transition activities during new facility go‑live.
- Participate in emergency evacuation procedures and health‑safety management.
- Prepare and analyze vendor performance data for escalation.
- Track usage of Simpliance tool for annual maintenance contracts.
- Conduct mandatory trainings and onboarding for new M&E team members.
- Maintain shift rosters, BMS schedules, and conduct facility walk‑around checks.
- Assist Facility Manager with ISO standards implementation and audit documentation.
- Manage BMS through online monitoring and data analysis.
- Maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly engineering records and reports.

A BTech in Electrical Engineering with 7‑8 years of relevant experience is required. The incumbent will manage comprehensive records and reporting—daily logs, weekly trackers, monthly dashboards, and yearly utility projections—while achieving KPI and SLA targets and supporting overall site performance.
