- **All Field Technicians are Required to successfully pass all Operator Qualification training, and testing pertaining to meter work/meter reading to proceed with employment.
- carry a minimum of 20 lbs. of equipment
- Possess excellent customer service/communication skills
- Be comfortable using computers/technology
- Ability to fly/drive anywhere in the U.S.
- be able to effectively communicate with customers in a courteous manner displaying excellent customer service and perform other duties as assigned
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day
- Ability to drive-in all-weather conditions.
- Ability to sit and drive 8 hours per day
- Must be flexible to travel up to 75% of the time including occasional weekends may be required.
- Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot technology as needed.
- Will need to be comfortable driving survey vehicle at 15mph for 4 hours straight in between breaks.
Benefits
- A daily $40.00 per diem for meals and approved expenses when traveling, paid travel and hotel are also included when traveling on AMLD driving assignments.
- Be available for overtime (which may include weekends)
- Rate of pay/shift differential will increase by $1.00 when driving nights.
- There will also be a $2.00 hour travel stipend when staying in hotels.
- Starting pay is $21.00 per hour to start with an increase of .50 cents at 60 and 180 days.
