The Project Coordinator role supports telecom infrastructure projects by linking engineering and field teams, managing documentation, and ensuring quality throughout fiber network deployments.
- Conduct constructability reviews for fiber networks with the engineering team.
- Perform engineering investigations and review field survey data and design updates.
- Prepare job estimates, including instruction orders and activity breakdowns.
- Review and advise on telecom easement rights, permitting requirements, and joint‑use facilities.
- Arrange and execute inspections of joint‑use facilities within the scope of work.
- Provide technical recommendations for telecom distribution systems.
- Utilize pole analysis tools such as SPIDA Calc, QuickPole, and PLS‑CADD.
- Assist in creating and reviewing the bill of materials.
- Train field and engineering teams on construction practices.
- Promote an inclusive culture that values equity, diverse perspectives, and career growth.

- Perform repetitive data entry and tolerate prolonged sedentary positioning; occasional travel may be required.
- 2+ years experience coordinating telecom (FTTH/OSP/ISP) or utility projects, including design coordination, permitting, or construction administration.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint).
- Experience with telecom BOMs, splice schedules, microduct design standards, and as‑built documentation.
- Familiarity with municipal permitting workflows and document‑control best practices.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and ESRI/GIS (asset).
- Post‑secondary education in civil, electrical, or related discipline; telecommunications focus preferred.
- Valid provincial driver’s license in good standing.
