Interface with external engineering consultants to delegate work packages that support in-house activities
Be accountable for the quality of all design deliverables and technical delivery of least whole life cost solutions
Management of Earthing system design and analysis whilst using the various software suite
Earthing system analysis using the industry analysis software package CDEGS
Responsible for ensuring that design packages are completed on time and on target with regards to time, cost, safety and environmental standards, in accordance with client and industry specifications

Hold appropriate qualifications in engineering and be able to display a sound understanding of relevant technologies and legislation. Desirable qualifications include BEng / MEng in Electrical, Civil or Process Engineering
Be a ‘can do’ proactive person with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be a passionate Electrical Design Engineer with experience in the Power Earthing Engineering environment, who has a practical and proven understanding of Design solution development and implementation.
Have good commercial awareness with developing influencing and negotiating skills, as well as an aptitude to develop relationships with clients and end users quickly and effectively
Require a full driving licence and there will be an element of working away with the role as and when required
