In this role you will contribute to feasibility studies, design, construction and asset management, collaborating with national and international specialists to develop sustainable water solutions.
Key responsibilities include leading embankment dam projects from concept through detailed design and construction support, overseeing geotechnical investigations to ensure compliance with ANCOLD Guidelines, providing technical leadership and coordination across multidisciplinary teams, and supporting business growth through proposals and mentorship of junior staff.
Balancing the world’s need for safe, reliable water with protecting this critical natural resource requires a deep understanding of interconnected systems. AECOM works with clients across the entire project life cycle—from planning studies to construction and operations—using traditional and alternative delivery options such as design‑build and public‑private partnerships.
The ideal candidate holds a relevant tertiary degree, CPEng and RPEV registration, and proven experience in the dam industry, with strong communication, problem‑solving, organisational and commercial skills to build effective client relationships.
The position is based in Melbourne, Victoria (Collins Square) with a hybrid work model, reporting to the DCS business group within AECOM Australia Pty Ltd.
