Collaborate early and often with architects, other engineers, and clients as part of our integrated design process and culture, resulting in growth of revenue and scale of practice
Actively engage in business development initiatives by contributing to RFP responses, participating in client interviews and fostering client relationships
Partner with the Global Sector Leader and Regional Sector Leader to set strategic direction for growth, actively participate in business plan strategies and initiatives
Represent DLR Group at meetings with owners, clients, and suppliers
Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards and preparing regular status reports
Facilitate and document meetings with staff and clients, coordinating project personnel, vendors, and consultants
Lead the design on projects of significance
Carry out technical review of interdisciplinary teams prior to issuance
Manage engineering project execution, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and scope while maintaining client expectations

Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills, both verbal and written
10+ years of experience working as an engineer, including engineering design related to K-12 Education sector
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Understanding of business management and customer service principles, thought leadership and relationship building
Working knowledge of the design and construction process and the ability to understand and communicate with professionals of other disciplines
WELL, LEED or relevant accreditation to the region
Knowledge and support of DLR Group’s climate action strategy and commitments, including AIA2030, MEP2040 and SE2050
Ability to lead others and foster teamwork
Demonstrated record of consistent quality work
Knowledge of local building and energy codes
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Familiarity with facility operations and maintenance of building systems
