Responsibilities span solution design, Tier 3 technical support, network operations, project leadership, and documentation. In solution design, the individual must be familiar with the Purdue Model, OT protocols such as Modbus, DNP3 and IEC 61850, and have hands‑on experience with service‑provider‑grade equipment from Cisco, Nokia and Juniper, as well as MPLS VPN services, firewalls, encryption and secure remote access. Tier 3 support involves advanced troubleshooting of Nokia core components, collaboration with Tier 1/2 teams, and coordination with vendor support for critical issues and software upgrades.
Daily network operations include monitoring the private LTE network, responding to incidents, managing changes, and analyzing performance data to proactively address potential issues. Project leadership duties cover new service rollouts, upgrades and migrations, requiring coordination across cross‑functional teams, while documentation and training responsibilities involve creating and maintaining technical runbooks, knowledge‑base articles and mentoring team members.
- Lead advanced troubleshooting of Nokia core components (MME, HSS, SGW, PGW) and coordinate with Tier 1/2 teams and vendor support.
- Oversee daily private LTE network operations, incident response, performance analysis and change management.
- Drive network projects such as service rollouts, upgrades, migrations and mentor team members through documentation and training.

The role combines service ownership—ensuring reliability, optimal performance, and ongoing improvement—with expert‑level troubleshooting and support for complex network issues. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience) and bring at least five years of network operations experience, including three to five years supporting 4G/5G cellular networks, Nokia core (CMU) and IP‑MPLS environments. A deep understanding of LTE architecture, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and proven Tier 3 support experience are essential, as are excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years in network operations, including 3‑5 years on 4G/5G cellular networks.
- Hands‑on experience with Nokia core (CMU) and IP‑MPLS networks, plus deep knowledge of LTE architecture and protocols.
- Proven Tier 3 technical support and service ownership, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; experience with network monitoring, incident management and change control.
- Design expertise in Purdue Model, OT protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850) and service‑provider grade equipment (Cisco, Nokia, Juniper).
- Proficiency in MPLS VPN services (VPLS, VPRN), firewalls, VPN, network segmentation, encryption and secure remote access.
