Responsible for review and check the vendor drawings & technical datasheet for various equipment’s like Chiller, Pumps, Cooling Towers etc., and further low side items like Piping, ducting, Air distribution products etc., and Subcontractor shop drawings.
Visiting project sites for verifying and resolving all design related issues with sites.
Reviews of suppliers documents and liaise with suppliers for technical inputs and inquiries.
Perform as Lead HVAC Systems Designer, Expertise with the Design of “Airports & Hangar Maintenance shops, Metro Rails & Maintenance Depots, Convention and Exhibition Halls, IT Parks, Tall Buildings, Datacentre, Hospitals & Stadium design” based on Globally / Nationally accepted Codes and Standards.
Perform all MEP design activities and coordinate with Architect, Structure, ELV systems, Public Heath, Piping, Fire Fighting and HVAC Engineering to ensure quality compliance in accordance with client & owner expectations in most economical manner.
Determines the size of water and chilled water piping, preparation of piping layout and perform pump head calculations for the chilled water piping.
Properly plan and schedule the activities of the Department in its need to deliver timely engineering design services.
Prepares periodic reports with respect to the Division's/ Department's activities and achievements to be submitted to the Managers.
Establish Systems for Bill of Materials / Quantity Take Off for Tender projects.
Keep abreast of the latest design software and evaluate its efficiency to the department and the organization.
Determines the size of HVAC ducting, and preparation of ducting layout and perform friction loss calculation of duct work.

Should have in depth knowledge of District cooling system, Chilled water system (Air cooled and Water-cooled system), VRF System, DX System, Precision AHU system, Radiant cooling system, Thermal Energy storage system, Heating system (Winter heating & Reheating), Basement Ventilation System, Fume Hood Exhaust System, Bio Safety Cabinet Exhaust System, etc.,
Should be well versed with all software’s and use various digital tools.
