Support any technical issues faced by the team throughout the product development process
Guide the design team through concept to production release phases utilising 1D and CAE tools to pragmatically inform the design process
Support project gate deliverables as part of the New Product Introduction Process
Managing the cost of components and assemblies
Responsible for effective drawing release both from technical sign off and project delivery perspective
Support / generate development plans for your team, undertake performance appraisals, and provide guidance and mentorship to promote high performance within your team
Manage, lead, and provide clear direction to your team for all mechanical NPIP & CPS activities
To work and develop relationships with Project, Quality, Manufacturing & Purchasing teams to deliver NPI requirements and help resolve production / supply chain challenges
Review, critique and advise on system designs, DFMEA’s, DVP’s. Conduct technical reviews with key stakeholders & support Engineering Sign off
Working closely with our Electrical and Test & Development teams to ensure a smooth integration in the products
