Maintain strong working relationships with site operational teams and vendor partners.
Drive improvements in warehouse and inventory processes.
Negotiate goods and services in alignment with lowest total cost of ownership principles.
Partner with local management to anticipate procurement needs and ensure cost-effective sourcing.
Lead RFx processes in accordance with procurement guidelines.
Coordinate procurement activities according to category strategies, policies, and specifications.
Assist with inventory and warehouse management at the Richmond cement operation.
Support the identification and delivery of cost savings, efficiency gains, quality improvements, and process enhancements.
Provide coverage for the Warehouse Supervisor as needed.
Draft contracts and agreements using approved templates under the guidance of the Procurement Manager.

Effective planning, prioritization, and time management abilities.
2–5 years of procurement experience, including exposure to supply chain management, strategic sourcing, and procurement best practices.
Commitment to safety protocols and proper use of PPE, including respirators when required.
Strong written and verbal communication across technical and operational levels.
Strong Excel proficiency.
Ability to manage competing tasks in fast-paced or ambiguous environments.
Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Engineering, or related discipline preferred).
Experience with eRFQ/eAuction tools and SAP considered an asset.
Ability to maintain professionalism in conflict or challenging situations.
