Develop step-by-step operator friendly set-up process and production routing.
Maintain a relationship with the customer, developing business opportunities for current and future needs.
Maintain communications with internal and external customers to ensure project tasks are being accomplished effectively and efficiently within the established time frames.
Ensure the project is completed accurately, on time and in the best interest of the company and customer maintaining open communications with all parties.
Enter all relevant data into the system, establish tasks, distribute preliminary information and create and manage project folders according to company standards.
Establish required purchased material and tooling for CAM supported projects.
Responsible for day-to-day machine shop coordination of programming issues.

Must have considerable knowledge of OII-MSD operations and specific trade knowledge as determined by area of responsibility, understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the assigned projects, and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
Must be able to read blueprints and have strong knowledge of applied math
High School/GED and additional vocational courses.
Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Must have excellent oral and written communications skills. Position will interface with internal customers, external customers and vendors.
Minimum of five years CAM Systems post editing process programming experience, specifically SolidWorks & Mastercam.
Ability to successfully reach company goals in an environment in which a wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
CNC tool pathing with non-interference proofing.
Minimum of five years of CNC machining process development experience.
Computer literacy including MS Office applications.
Conventional machining experience desired
Experience with close tolerance high speed machining.
